Clean and Sustainable Energy Generation
Since its founding in 1958, Polpa Papéis has had sustainable development in its DNA. The Dall'Asta and Damo families strategically chose the municipality of Santa Cecília due to its abundance of water for generating clean energy, through hydroelectric plants.
Currently, Polpa Papéis has two of its own generators with a total capacity of 1,500 kWh, the energy generated is capable of serving a community with 10,000 inhabitants.
Using natural resources with respect for the environment, preserving them and reconciling them with economic growth, has always been in the culture, objectives and actions of Polpa Papéis, using natural resources to the same extent that nature can replace them.
